Marc's parents in town

I kind of like to call it a mini-vaca when we have guests. This time I was able to sleep in every morning -Fery would get him out of bed when he woke up at the crack of dawn and feed him breakfast. I would then wake up around 8/8:30. I went to yoga a few times, got a massage, ran a few errands, went to lunch with friends...it was so nice. Unfortunately Caiden was a bit sick while they were here so we spent a lot of time indoors. At the end of the trip we got out a few times and went to La Jolla Shores and Del Mar to walk around.

They spend a lot of time speaking to Caiden in Farsi and by the end of the week he would speak a few words like "bird" and "eat". We are also teaching Caiden to call Fery, "Mamani", which is as close as you're going to get to Grandma in Farsi and for Osi it is "Babai". He has totally got it down and I feel like it helps him not get confused calling both sets of grandparents "Grandpa" and "Grandma". And I think each set of grandparents like that they have their own names and aren't called the same thing ;)

This is at the playground. He just lays on the ground and stares up and points at the moon. He does this everywhere, not just this one time and strangers always get a kick out of it.

Sometimes he loves to hold your hand. He'll stand there and say, "hand, hand, hand" until you give it to him. This was one of those times. Sometimes he'll just walk me around the entire house with a big grin on his face.

At the beach he was obsessed with collecting as many rocks as he could and carrying them around.
